RS Taichi has succeeded in making a special leather for racing suits, jackets, pants and gloves with test feedback from the race track. For example, cutting pattern that is the most comfortable when riding, stitching to maintain durabilty and strength, and a choice of material that is strong against abrasion and tear. The leather used by RS Taichi in there top grade models such as the NXL 070 and NXL 100 are several times stronger in abrasion and tear resistance compared to other general leather.
They choose top quality string that is strong against abrasion and water. Leather suits are built using superior techniques by digging the stitching into the leather to avoid abrasion when crashed.
Size variation is one of the most important factor in order to choosing a comfortable leather suit. RS Taichi has a total of 34 sizes available off the rack to suit most people.
All of there racing suits are MFJ certified. What this means is that these suits pass and exceed all the neccessary testing to allowed to be used on the track. MFJ (Motorcycle Federation of Japan) is known as one of the most strict standards in the world. It means that these suits can be used in MOTOGP and WSBK and other professional race use. They also include CE armour which is made in Italy which is 15mm thickness in the shoulder and 20mm thickness in the elbow and knees.
